Yes, it’s time to come home. And, exhibitors, give serious thought to where you truly Want to be in 2009.
Good news. We have just received confirmation that T.H.E. Show will be video-taped this year, thanks to Arnie at AudiogoN. He just sent the following. We suggest you contact Arnie, personally, within the next week to set up appointments. His email and phone are listed below.
We’ll see you soon!
Audiogon will be covering T.H.E. Show in great depth this year. In addition to professional photography of every exhibit, we will also be shooting Video.
We imagine capturing a few minutes in your room while you are explaining/demonstrating your latest creation, and we hope to schedule a sit-down video interview with folks who really want to use the power of the Internet. The interview will be mostly free-flow with perhaps a few questions being asked by a knowledgeable audio veteran (namely myself, Arnie).
Thus, I would like to ask that you contact me before the show if you are interested in this concept (sit-down video interview), so that we may set up a time that would be convenient for you. The interview could be done either in your room, or in Audiogon’s room at St Tropez 1704 which might be more comfortable and have less distractions.
Please consider this idea to maximize your investment in THE Show; by creating something that will promote your brand long after THE Show, and in a manner that truly captures the power of the Internet. Note: I am not asking for money, just for some of your time So please do let me know if you are interested and we will do our best to make it happen.
The Rocky Mountain Audio Fest will be held in Denver October 12-14. If you’ll be there, and you’d like to discuss THE Show, look for Richard Beers or just call our office to arrange to meet up.
See the Cool Gear!
It’s a Digital Music versus Vinyl showdown at the 2007 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, October 12 - 14, 2007, where connecting your computer to your home audio system will be the topic of two popular seminars.
View Home Theatre at its finest and meet some of the best Metro Denver custom installers.
With more than 140 rooms to explore, the festival will also feature the largest display of turntables anywhere, along with speakers, amplifiers and other cool gear rarely seen in a retail setting. Please bring your favorite vinyl or CD’s for a new listening experience!
Join us at the Marriott Denver Tech Center, 4900 S. Syracuse St., Denver, CO.
And, if you attend THE Show in January and you want to discuss the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest with somebody, just come by THE Show office at the St. Tropez. We borrow Marjorie from the RMAF every year now to be our office manager and she can tell you anything about RMAF that you may want to know.
The new blog is well underway now, I think. T.H.E. Show exhibitors (in particular) are invited to send us your news. Any method will do: Put a comment under this message; or use the Contact form (it’s linked at the top); or you can even telephone us (remember, we are not big and scary like some other guys so we’re easy to reach by phone).
Pictures and YouTube videos are Most Particularly welcome.
You don’t need to be an exhibitor to offer us a tip, naturally.
If you have any suggestions for news to be placed here, please contact us, there is a link at the top of this page. Or just click on this (or any) entry title and leave a comment. We’ll see it.
Before you can “comment” here you need to just make a blog account. There’s nothing to it. Provide your name and email address. A password will be emailed to you immediately and then you can log in.
We particularly welcome news from exhibitors, announcing what they’ll be showing at the next T.H.E. Show. Suggestions as to relevant YouTube videos are also very nice!
Here’s a YouTube video from the audio show in Milan.
Gee… Somebody really ought to make a video of T.H.E. Show!
